Working with groups is one of the most engaging and inspiring ways to learn how to cultivate our wellbeing. In these workshops, the interactions and discussions that arise leave students recognizing that when we explore possibilities and engage in practices, we can then embark on the steps to make our lives happier, more peaceful, and filled with greater meaning and positivity. The group dynamic also reminds us that we are not alone—and share many similar experiences, challenges, and struggles.
Using research-based tools and strategies—grounded in my positive psychology, mindfulness and resilience trainings—I have had the opportunity to lead workshops and teach classes at a variety of organizations, businesses, wellness centers and meditation studios, such as Kripalu, JCC Manhattan, MNDFL, Wholebeing Institute, and Pause to be Present mindfulness meditation studio, among others.
If any of the below sound interesting to you, please get in touch with any questions so I can let you know the when, the where and if you’d like, the why!

PREVIOUS WORKSHOPS
What is the value of a ‘like’ on Facebook when we draw the greatest fulfillment from our family, friends, community, and ourselves?
In a trusting, safe space, we will learn and talk about gratitude—the science, benefits, our experiences—and engage in interactive discussion and activities.
Peace + Positivity: Self-Compassion
How is it that we blame ourselves for things that aren’t even in our control? We criticize ourselves for things we’ve said or done, fully aware that we would never treat another so harshly. This new workshop will focus on the importance of self-compassion—being kinder to and less judgmental of ourselves.
This workshop uses writing as a vehicle for self-expression and exploration. Writing about meaningful issues and experiences has been scientifically proven to be good for both your physical health and emotional well-being. NO writing experience necessary.
Cultivating Happiness:
The Science & Strategies of Well-Being
What brings certain people happiness and success? During this interactive workshop, we will explore the scientific study of human flourishing, also known as Positive Psychology, engage in discussion about the premises that foster happiness, and embark on the practices that can bring greater joy and meaning to our lives.
No matter the age, our technology-laden lives are filled with stress and anxiety. This interactive workshop provides a tool-kit of stress-reducing and balance-enhancing life skills for teens, teaching them strategies to cultivate greater calm, resilience, self-compassion and effective communication.
The Mindful Balance
Focusing our attention on the breath and the sensations we are experiencing in the present moment is the root of mindfulness and meditation. This workshop is an opportunity to learn an array of mindfulness practices—such as breathing, eating, walking and loving-kindness meditation—as well as the significance of awareness, and its impact on thoughts, emotions and behaviors.
