I now see how owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.
―Brené Brown
On a recent trip to India, I spent a week at a retreat, doing yoga, meditating, and basically healing my body and soul. I documented my experience for an article that was published in The New York Time Travel section last month. Perhaps my recollections will inspire you to take a similar journey—no matter the destination—that will enable you to nurture those parts of you that need it most.

Give yourself the gift of kindness and compassion! Please join me and my friend and mindfulness meditation teacher, Cheryl Brause, of 2bpresent, for an expressive writing + mindfulness workshop at the Tovamiyoga studio in Mamaroneck, NY on Sunday, March 18 from 3:30 – 5:00 pm.
*No writing experience necessary.
